Molecular characterization offelinelow grade alimentary lymphoma, a spontaneous animal model of human indolent T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder of the gastrointestinal tract
Feline low-grade alimentary lymphoma (LGAL) is an emerging entity, representing at present one of the most common digestive neoplasm in cats. Because of clinical and phenotypical similarities, feline LGAL may be considered as a powerful spontaneous animal model of poorly understood rare human cancer named indolent T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder of the gastrointestinal tract. In the present project, we will perform integrated analysis of whole genome and transcriptome sequencing in 20 cats with LGAL in order to identify somatic genetic events and oncogenic virus genomes.
