The 1st cell atlas of the human airways

P Barbry’s team and the UCAGenomiX platform publish the 1st human airway cell atlas by scRNA-seq analysis (Am. J. Respir. Crit. Care. Med 2020; doi: 10.1164/rccm.201911-2199OC). This study demonstrates that transcriptome differs for a cell type according to its location along the respiratory tract while the expression of cell-specific genes remains stable.
