EOULSAN: A WORKFLOW MANAGER AND A FRAMEWORK FACILITATING HIGH THROUGHPUT SEQUENCING ANALYSES
Eoulsan is a versatile open source framework developed by the genomic platform of Genomic Paris Centre from IBENS (Institut de Biologie de l’École normale supérieure) that can reproducibility analyse huge amount of sequencing data. Especially dedicated to service platforms, this workflow manager automates the analysis of a large number of samples by using a first file containing the list of the steps to complete in the analysis (and their parameters) and a second file that describe the experimental design. Finally, it can be used on a large choice of computational infrastructure : Hadoop clusters, standard computer clusters or any standard workstation.
Availability and Implementation : Eoulsan is implemented in Java, supported on Linux systems, and distributed under the GNU LGPL and CeCILL-C Licenses
